Engineering Technologist

Typical duties will include (but not limited to) the following:

• Create and maintain schematic symbol libraries
• Create and maintain printed circuit board footprint libraries
• Assist in component selection and evaluation
• Perform printed circuit board layout
• Prepare and maintain bill of materials
• Interface with contract manufacturers and coordinate prototype builds
• Support prototype debugging and testing

The successful candidate will possess:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 1 year experience with Orcad Capture, PADS Logic, and PADS PowerPCB
• Minimum 1 year multi-layer (6-layer or more) printed circuit board layout
• Experienced with fine pitch BGA and high speed differential lines layout
• Up-to-date knowledge on new component technologies
• Exceptionally good hand-soldering skill
• Innovative thinking and problem solving skill
• Experienced with Visual Basic and C programming
